Click HERE for  our Spelling Set words. These are the Common  Exception Words that all children have to know how to spell by the time they leave Year 1.

Your child was on a set when we were last in school. Please continue to learn that set for a week, practice them daily and then test your child once a week.

If they get them all correct, please move onto learning the next set. Any  words they still don't know,  please continue to learn those words alongside the next set.

Don't forget to come back to previous lists if your child forgets how to spell these words when using them in their writing.
